Frequently Asked Question:
What if I want to be the Principal Broker or Managing Broker of a real estate agency?

A Broker license authorizes you to perform all brokerage services on behalf of an agency, including serving as the agency’s principal broker or managing broker. The broker license is issued for two years and is renewable.

To apply for the Broker license you must:

Consult the New Hampshire Real Estate Examination Candidate Handbook for complete details.

Note that there are alternate ways to be licensed as a broker in New Hampshire if you have completed a specified course of study in a college degree program. Consult the New Hampshire Real Estate Commission for more information.

The Real Estate Learning Group offers the Prelicense Course and New Hampshire approved Continuing Education courses, both of which may be used to satisfy part of the educational requirement for the Broker license. Click the link for either offering to see dates and locations near you!
